Preparation a key ingredient to successful security training.
That preparation should include establishing profiles of the various types of users, determining their specific training needs (including schedule), and documenting how these needs will be met in a training plan.
The training plan and training materials should be provided as early as possible for review by end user key personnel (for suitability to users and their operational tasks), as well as by the appropriate installation personnel (to verify accuracy) .
Their feedback can help make the final training a "perfect fit" and really smooth out the system turnover process.
